After you choose a piece of equipment and begin your research start by locating the following to include with your final submission:

1. Service Manual/Operator’s Manual (you must attach your reference file or the direct working website link)
2. The entire Preventative Maintenance (PM) Procedure (you may copy/paste it directly from the manual)
3. A list of the test equipment and interface devices required to perform a complete PM.
4. Submit your writeup by uploading a PDF, Word file (preferred), or by pasting it into the assignment

• What is the unit’s primary function? (What does it do?)
• What area or department would this device likely be located/utilized?
• If possible, name some manufacturers of similar units and their makes/models.
• Estimated list price cost of your selected unit.
• Pricing of the required test equipment.
• Common failures of the equipment.
• Anything YOU think is interesting or relevant about the equipment you find when doing research.
