If I were to ask you what sense, of the 5 senses of vision, hearing, taste, smell and touch, you would be willing to do without, you would all probably say none and I would agree with you!  However, I am asking you that because I want you to think about the way you use your senses and how important they are to you in bringing in information from the environment that may be necessary for you to know.  What sense would you do without and WHY?  Furthermore, if you had to loose either vision or hearing, which would you rather?  I know this may sound like a silly exercise but you may be surprised by what your fellow classmates say and particularly the “Whys”.  Do some real thinking before you post!
