Introduction Technology influences how people think, communicate and learn and defines society in terms of how people interact with each other on their day-to-day lives. Technology affects society both positively and negatively. Technology has impacted society both negatively and positively. Technology has led to mechanical interventions. Technology has led to easier communication. Technology has led to the depletion of people’s ability to think on their own. Technology has led to mechanical interventions. Prior to the invention of machines, everything was handmade. For instance, many people used wagons as a means of transportation before the inventions of automobiles. Although the automobile industry eliminated the occupations of people making wagons, it equally created many job opportunities for people, especially in assembly lines and factories. The main positive influence of these interventions is that they have led to an increase in efficiency in the way that people live (Wardynski, 2020). For instance, automobiles have led to faster transportation. Technology has led to easier communication Lack of a clear communication between clients and the organization or between employees and the organization has affected organizations in the past. Prior to inventions on communication channels, the main medium of communicating was through phones. Employers needed to have secretaries to monitor their schedule as they hope that they would not be caught up with looming deadlines (Wardynski, 2020).
