As we discussed in our introductions, many of us have math anxiety or we may have insecurities about our abilities to do science, use technology, or solve problems through engineering. Many times, the interactions we have with children and their families can help us change our thinking toward these subject areas. In this final discussion, reflect on how your attitudes have changed about each of the STEM areas. Share readings and resources, activities, assignments, or discussions that you completed in this class that changed your feelings towards or attitudes about STEM. Discuss steps that you plan to take to build on what you have learned in this class about early childhood STEM. Present two (2) strategies that you will use to support equitable and culturally-responsive classrooms for all children as they develop skills in science, technology, engineering, and math.
