Welcome to week five lessons as we just passed our half-way point in our class!

I am so very impressed with what I am seeing in PJM310 and your
dedication and commitment is paying off. It is hard to believe, but we
are at the half way point of PJM310 coursework. I hope you all are
enjoying the journey and that you will let me know if you have any
questions in class. Week four lessons focused on how you will learn how
to evaluate network techniques, integrate crashing a project, prescribe
resource loading, and assess resource leveling. In week five you will
learn how to practice earned value analysis, apply control techniques,
and relate Monitoring and Controlling Process Group.

Content

Module 5 includes earned value analysis (EVA) and project control.
EVA allows for the comparison of baseline performance measures to
actual. Project control is examined by evaluating the purpose of
control, describing the types of control processes, examining the design
of control systems, and explaining control of change and scope creep.
This module provides background on controlling varying aspects of the
project and the Monitoring and Controlling Process Group.
